  • Hmm... does this sound like a good reason to switch to Bitwig?
I'm starting to think you're trolling because that's just from the first four results of a google search without even delving down the reddit , image-line forums, audiob.us discussions and ableton discussions that these initial articles led me down. No idea where you got the idea that ableton sucks for recording. Everything about ableton's audio management is awesome. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Another Newbie Question - IPhone or Android?
iPad, by far. Get yourself https://audiob.us/ and Korg Gadget and you'll have it all singing and dancing together quickly. Source: almost 2 years ago
  • Loopy Pro – the future of live looping
Loopy is pretty cool. The dude who wrote it (Michael Tyson) is also behind https://audiob.us/ and https://theamazingaudioengine.com/ and was really early and influential to the iOS audio scene. Definitely worth checking out. - Source: Hacker News / about 2 years ago
  • Unifying iPadOS and macOS
    > the ability to create(!) and combine small specialized tools into something that's bigger than the sum of its parts Funny, the possibility to do that currently exists in a walled garden, for audio apps: https://audiob.us The problem was never was the current OSs, it was just about app makers not willing or not knowing how to collaborate amongst themselves. It was also never about open vs closed, since... - Source: Hacker News / over 2 years ago

  • Drumscript: A simple MIDI drum machine scripting language
It's linux only, and MIDI only, and it needs GTK2, but yeah, it should work on modern linux. You can use jack[1] to connect the midi output to a softsynth, or another drum software (e.g. Hydrogen[2]) or to actual MIDI hardware. There's a video demo[3] of my program I made 3 years ago. The pasting of drum tab is demoed at 6:20 in the video. [1] https://jackaudio.org/. - Source: Hacker News / 7 months ago
  • Delay on EZDrummer 3 with Millenium mps 850.
Im pretty sure that asio4all drivers dont run on linux, I think its a windows exclusive driver. But I think that JACK is something similar, Im not sure though, since all I have ever used is windows so I havent had a reason to look into it. Source: 10 months ago
  • Looking an alternative to AudioMulch
If you're looking for a realtime VST Host, I use Carla with the JACK Audio Connection Kit for low-latency EQ and other FX which are realtime on my Microphone, which then get redirected to a virtual microphone (all on Linux, should still be possible on Windows). So far that worked greatly. Source: 11 months ago
  • Share device audio along with audio call
Jack is supported on main platforms . Make sure to read the wiki . Also, some Realtek drivers has the Stereo-mix option that allows you achieve what you want. If yo have the default audio driver that Windows install it may be missing. Source: 11 months ago

Wonder if a virtual audio cable would help. https://jackaudio.org. Source: 12 months ago
