Remotely.fm Reviews

  1. Reliable and easy

We've been using Remotely for a year and never had any technical issues. Recording quality is great, and the branding functionality makes us seem more professional.

The only con is that it doesn't do live streaming yet, if you need that.

Remotely.fm mentions (22)

  • How to do a podcast with someone out of state?
I can recommend remotely.fm. High quality audio/video and super easy to use. - Source: Reddit / about 2 months ago
  • What is a good program to use to record video podcast of two people remotely?
What you want to do is a “double ender”, which means that each participant records them self on their own computer. This means that the recorded quality will be great, regardless of network connection. You can do this for free using something like Discord + Audacity + Google Drive, or I can recommend remotely.fm which does it all for you. - Source: Reddit / about 2 months ago
  • Starting out
If you don't have that budget, using Zoom can work well if the network connection of your guest is good. You can also do a double-ender (you each record your side of the conversation using a tool like Audacity, and then everyone uploads the recorded tracks to something like Google Drive). This will get you equally good quality as remotely.fm, but it will be a bit more hassle, especially for not-so-tech-savvy guests. - Source: Reddit / 2 months ago
  • Record over long distance
I can recommend remotely.fm for remote recording. Easy to use and very reliable. - Source: Reddit / 2 months ago
