  ApE - A plasmid editor is a free program that you could use to open sequence files and then search for the sequences. Not great when you compare it to paid programs, but it works. Source: over 2 years ago

  ApE is what I use to do both these things. Paste in the plasmid sequences, got these off Addgene but they may not be the exact ones y’all’re using pUC19 and pGFP Use ctrl+F to design a primer and then read the distance between them. Source: about 3 years ago
