  • What second language to learn after Python?
Well, regarding HTML5, what I've found was libxml (does not support tag-soup HTML5), https://github.com/lexbor/lexbor, for which I was unable to find good documentation ( see https://lexbor.com/docs/lexbor/#dom), Apache Xerces (appears to not support tag-soup HTML5 as well), and Gumbo, which does not appear to be active and to support selectors and XPath (although there are libraries that add that). • Best ReactJS library for Drag-n-Drop Table for plugin Admin view?
Because WordPress is already have these jQuery & jQuery UI libraries (https://jqueryui.com/). Source: 10 months ago
  • jQuery 3.6.2 Released
We still use jQuery + jQuery UI on our website because it is basically battle tested through 15+ years. https://jqueryui.com/ It is easy as hell. What's there to not like? I don't care to be called names or being old fashioned. I also don't care about "right" tooling for frontend. As far it works and it is robust and it is going to be around for many years, I am fine with it. - Source: Hacker News / over 1 year ago
  • Best engine/framework for browser game?
Looking at screenshots of ogame, it looks like it's just HTML and CSS driven by JS - essentially just a normal website. You could pick any web development framework (e.g. React) for a game like this. Sniffing their web traffic I see references to jQuery and jQuery UI (https://jqueryui.com/) which are ubiquitous tools for interactive websites. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Gov.uk drops jQuery from their front end
You clearly haven’t heard of JQueryUI. Try doing these things with scattered libraries and JS codepens found on the 10th page on Google search: https://jqueryui.com/ jQuery is awesome. - Source: Hacker News / almost 2 years ago
  • [AskJS] Is there a Bootstrap of just JS components e.g. modal, accordion, off-canvas, tabs?
If you use jQuery, you can use jqueryui. If you use react you can use reach-ui. Source: about 2 years ago
