Provides tons of features for remote work. Even the free version can be used for business purposes. The installation is very simple and light. Takes no time, it doesn't require registration etc.
I like that AeroAdmin does not need any installation. You just have to download, run the program, input the ID and you are already connected. The remote screen also has a smooth interface and easy to use. Screen record is possible by just following the steps and even unattended access is possible for this. One of the things I like best too is that the license is cheap and affordable.

AnyDesk works very well. It's a remote desktop software available for Windows, macOS, and Linux. Free for home use. I personally used it on all three OSs (specific flavors of Linux were Mint and Pop!_OS, both Ubuntu derivatives, so it should work on Ubuntu itself). Source: 11 months ago

Instead of RDP, you can use alternate remote access tools. You may be able to use AnyDesk; not sure if the free version can be installed on a server, but this would allow your partner to connect directly to the console instance. Source: about 1 year ago
