Additionally, it should be noted that Aircast supports Glimesh, but they're not a free service. Source: almost 2 years ago
  • opinions on VOD channels
If you want to take the lazy way out efficiently utilize your time, and you are not an affiliate, you could multistream with something like Restream or Aircast to both Twitch & YouTube so that YT will automatically save the stream. Source: over 2 years ago
  • Are you using Rust at work? If yes, for what?
We use Rust extensively at Aircast. I left my job to work on Aircast last year and it really gave me the time I needed to invest in learning Rust, and I am so glad I did. The level of confidence Rust gives me, especially compared to our old Node/TypeScript services, has been amazing. I am genuinely happier (less stressed) in my day to day since moving to Rust. • Converge x OBS
Same. Since March of this year. My workaround is to stream to Glimesh.tv and then rebroadcast to Twitch using https://airca.st. Source: almost 3 years ago

  • The Myth of 'Just Press Record' in Podcasting
Recording an episode is not just a conversation but a production. With tools like StreamYard, we can connect with guests, capturing both video and audio. If a code sharing session gets blurry we have a copy from the users local device that we can make fixes! But the process doesn't stop there. The raw files are... - Source: dev.to / 4 months ago
  • Building a (Virtual) Events Site
I originally signed up for Streamyard because the streaming options in Crowdcast v1's built in streaming were very limited. This has since improved enormously, but Streamyard has a number of other features that make it useful to me. The ability to do multi-streams is helpful as we've started streaming to both YouTube and Crowdcast at the same time. The customizable displays and branding are useful too. I'm sure I... - Source: dev.to / 5 months ago
  • Zen Voltron Assemble!
Given the state of the world, this is likely the best idea. I have done many video group meetings to talk about Buddhism and Zen using: skype, Zoom, streamyard and OBS studio, and sending in video clips that are later edited in a presentation video. Source: 10 months ago
