  • Variable Frame Rates on YT (e.g. 59.94 fps)
Most video editing software will not play nice with variable frame rates. Try using HandBrake to convert it into a video with a constant frame rate. - Source: Reddit / 3 days ago
  • Help Vegas Pro importing clips not working
OBS can be a problem though. Sometimes it doesn't close out recordings properly. If you can, would you try re-encoding one of the rejected videos in Handbrake to see if that works. The settings aren't terribly important at this time - just encode as an MP4 AVC/h.264 (even though it already is) and try taking that into Vegas. If Handbrake throws up an error, make a note of it. - Source: Reddit / 4 days ago
  • AE CS6 exporting MP4 with wrong resolution
I recommend skipping Adobe’s H.264 (and H.265) encoder entirely and using Handbrake to make deliverables. Faster and higher quality encodes with smaller file sizes compared to that older MainConcept H264 encoder. - Source: Reddit / 6 days ago
  • Does anyone know where to convert Blu ray disc footage into DVD, or extract onto a USB?
Get an USB Blu ray player and download handbreak then you can rip the Blu rays and DVDs to your usb. - Source: Reddit / 7 days ago
  • Is there a way to watch an MKV (or other) fanedit using my smart TV?
The last option is to re-encode your videos with Handbrake. Generally I would not recommend that, unless you want to reduce the size of very large (Blu-ray) video files. But if you do, use the HQ 1080p or 720p presets with the 'slow' speed setting. The conversions will take some time (unless you have a fast graphics card), but you should be able to get a decent result without visible quality loss. - Source: Reddit / 10 days ago
