10 fast fingers still colors the word red if you made any mistake in that word but it wont show you what or where the mistakes are, or at least not easily without losing precious seconds... What I did was look up the touch typing hand layout (googling it is pretty easy), then just force myself to use it. I started off going from 37wpm to 7wpm, but through a lot of use (especially doing daily type tests on websites like https://play.typeracer.com/ or https://10fastfingers.com/ ) I'm now at ~65wpm without looking after a couple months. If you read any typing guide or watch any video on the subject, the first thing thta they all say, and the first thing that they all agree on, even if there's a whole bunch of things they don't agree on, is that you should follow something like typing.com, typingclub.com, ratatype.com or keybr.com to learn to touch type with all your fingers and so that you never have to look down at the keyboard.
