For practicing algorithms, use any of the freely available websites like https://hackerrank.com https://codechef.com https://projecteuler.net A structured set of practice problems are available at https://www.interviewbit.com/courses/programming/ Avoid https://geeksforgeeks.org because it has a ton of material but very poor quality control. I personally learnt cpp basics from gfg, then went ahead with solving basic problems on codeforces.com and codechef.com. Learnt basic algorithms such as brute force, math and greedy on my own while solving these problems, as well as search sort algos. This itself took me a good 6 months, and then I learnt dynamic programming (optimised recursion). Now I'm learning more on data structures. I think this roadmap... Source: almost 3 years ago
