  Painful share management. For the first few years I kept the shareholder register in excel. Then, when we got to over 30 shareholders, I moved things over to Carta.com .   I have separate certificates issued by Carta.com showing exercise dates, but would that be enough? Should I try to obtain any additional documentation to reduce future risks in case I get audited?
