• Getting my first MacBook today (been PC for 25 yrs) and planned on using the native apps - any suggestions on 3rd party downloads?

  Haven't settled on one. But if I had to pick, I'd probably choose Canary or Mozilla's Thunderbird, which are both purportedly privacy-first. Email in general is a fairly lossy format—you're either E2EE on both sides, or you're not.
