Yep, it was branch.io, I got rid of it. - Source: Reddit / about 1 month ago
Have to sign up with like branch.io or some other service that does link tracking or you can leave it blank. If you have an app or something you can use those sdks to track the full ad->download->signup->etc flow to determine the quality of your campaign audience. - Source: Reddit / about 2 months ago
I have found on my Pi-Hole logs many calls to branch.io (tracking tool) from my NAS. - Source: Reddit / 3 months ago
Fingers crossed this makes sense, any help at all would be appreciated. Happy to use third-party applications such as branch.io (but I do not believe this would really work past the App Store / Play Store barrier?). - Source: Reddit / 4 months ago
Https://branch.io is who they are, seems tons of apps use them. - Source: Reddit / 4 months ago
Have published app and app clip to TestFlight, set up AASA file on server, and entitlements in Xcode. It passes validation on branch.io tool, URL passes validation in App Store Connect. But unable to launch app from invocation URL (after first installing on device via TestFlight). Also this is an AR app that uses app code tracking, and it is unable to decode the app clip code currently. Is this expected behaviour... - Source: Reddit / 5 months ago

I realized alot of the libraries like firebase dynamic link and branch.io, dynamic link basically copies url to the clipboard and reads it once the app is opened. However, the ios 16 have the copy clipboard privacy now and I was wondering if this will be a big issue for the dynamic links and if it will not work anymore. - Source: Reddit / 6 months ago
Oh and this mysterious "how can IMDB ask you to use the app if imdb.com doesn't automatically open the IMDB app"?" Yeah, they just use branch.io or similar services to show that popup, and if you answer yes they redirect you to App Store/Play Store using the relevant URI scheme. Because the app store is already registered on the phone to handle those URIs the same way other apps can register them. It's a dark... - Source: Reddit / 7 months ago
Next up, tracking transparency: for those of you who have used the the promotional link, or any of the gift card links without having been installed already, you may have wondered how the app knows to give you the gift card details, and those more familiar with marketing might recognize this as deferred deep linking, or install attribution, rolling this on my own would have been a monumental task, so it's done... - Source: Reddit / 7 months ago
The thing is that I have two phones with two accounts of spotify, one does call branch.io every 2 seconds the other not at all, both in the same network and both blocked by pihole, so their answer seems implausible to me. Both phones have the same version of spotify on them. - Source: Reddit / 7 months ago
Https://branch.io/ is a prebuilt tool for companies to get help with marketing links and measuring how those links are clicked, so that said company can analyze and optimize their efforts in conversion of customers. So yeah, 100% worth the block in my book. - Source: Reddit / 7 months ago

Noticed the branch.io flooding in pihole. But after uninstalling Nova (and Nove Prime) and rebooting .. The phone still tries to contact the URL.... o.O. - Source: Reddit / 8 months ago
We utilize Branch.io, which I believe has a web kit. Where would we configure our branch.io key, or are we supposed to continue to load the branch.io SDK separately on our web server? - Source: Reddit / 8 months ago
Additionally I went throug all Apps in Aurora and had a look at the trackers shown there - no sign of branch.io there too. - Source: Reddit / 8 months ago
The API is provided by Branch. There must be some app you have installed/updated that contains code to collect analytics when some specified constraint is satisfied for example when you are at home, it connects to WiFi, and constraint requests that the device must be connected to WiFi. I hope that gives you an idea. - Source: Reddit / 8 months ago
You can also block any access to things like novalauncher.com branch.io and so on if you so choose. They won't keep the app from working. - Source: Reddit / 8 months ago
I have always used branch.io for configuring links like this. Highly recommend. Other options are AppsFlyer and Firebase Dynamic Links. - Source: Reddit / about 1 year ago
I'm pretty sure something was running in the background. Blokada is registered in Sweden, the branch.io domain is registered in France. - Source: Reddit / about 1 year ago
Frotend dev - for me there is a pretty steady flow of assisting client in extending cms templates and tweaks driven by conversion rate a/b tests, pixel perfect design conversion. Occasionally will get a more involved reactive component they want to build out, like a reactive filter/search widget sometimes alpine for other things. There is a decent amount of randomness outside of that - cordinating at times with... - Source: Reddit / about 1 year ago
