Referring to the instructions above, when you do a carrier lookup, note the carrier name. If it's AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, Comcast, Cricket Wireless, etc., there's a 99.9% chance that the number is a spoof, and probably shouldn't be reported on this subreddit to avoid the problem of post takedown/suspension of account. Also don't report to bobrtc.tel and scammer.info too, I'm pretty sure they don't accept spoofs.... Source: about 2 years ago

I've been trying to get into scambaiting, and I've been half successful. However, I am constantly unable to find numbers that I can call. This form isn't nearly active enough for my satisfaction, being so many numbers go out very quickly. bobrtc.tel is also not working for me. It won't let me make an account. Source: over 2 years ago
Go to bobrtc.tel and the numbers on that front page are recent, verified, and active scam numbers (they should be active, but that's subject to change). Source: over 2 years ago

The website is shady as all hell, any review on the company is a one star saying they [the customer] got scammed because the product didn't arrive. The staff know nothing about medicine. Heck, I asked if one of their eye ointment "helped with peristalsis" (a digestive function). The scammer on the phone replied "yes this eye ointment helps with peristalsis". I found the number on bobrtc.tel. I didn't buy anything... Source: over 2 years ago

Oh yeah, I forgot to tell you earlier, keep an eye out in a few weeks BobRTC is going to migrate to a new website bait.army. I think we'll all just have to wait for instructions on how to migrate an account from bobrtc.tel to bait.army. If you want to wait about two weeks to create an account that's fine too, so that you don't have to deal with account migration, but the process shouldn't be that difficult. Welcome bro! The best places in my opinion to keep an eye on for scam numbers would be this subreddit, scammer.info, and bobrtc.tel. If you didn't know didn't know already, if you create an account with bobrtc.tel, you can call the numbers on bobrtc from the website itself without having to use a separate app. Just don't be too surprised if a lot of the phone numbers you see don't work, scam numbers appear and...
