I was supposed to get a payment on Friday through bill.com (this has never been wrong before) but I never saw the payment get posted. I'm pretty sure either my client or bill.com must be using SVB. - Source: Reddit / 11 days ago
We use bill.com and have gotten checks from both SVB and chase, any idea if this affects the ACH payments though We do all of our invoicing and receivables through bill.com as well. - Source: Reddit / 12 days ago
Expenses and Purchasing (potentially integrating with bill.com and/or ramp). - Source: Reddit / 22 days ago
I used to do the accounting for a local farming supply company that had a 1 day close. The company was super simple though and everyone on board was super with it. Automated bills through bill.com, made all their utility providers and suppliers send the invoices on the first business day of the month to avoid accruals, and did payroll on the first as well for the same reason. - Source: Reddit / 26 days ago
Can we do all of the above in Xero without the need for bill.com? - Source: Reddit / about 1 month ago
Unfortunately no, I was being paid from bill.com and have confirmations from them but no breakdown of withholdings. The only proof I have is my employment contract which shows my salary and explains my pay schedule, and my bank records. - Source: Reddit / about 1 month ago
How are you getting by the formatting issues when the invoices sync to QBO? QBO won't use the customized invoice template for imported invoices, meaning I have to manually add any cc: emails for billing, manually turn on payment options, and manually add the terms to every single invoice. I'm about to move invoicing and payments over to bill.com which will sync back to QBO for accounting purposes. - Source: Reddit / about 2 months ago
Hello everyone, I applied to the Covid rent relief when it first started and my application has been stuck under “application under review” for the longest. I called the 833 assistance number everyday and all they say is everything looks good and it is on the final stage. SMH it’s so discouraging in November a case manager contacted me asking for an updated Ledger and to speak to my landlord via email and I did... - Source: Reddit / about 2 months ago
The money is paid out of the US (IRS keeps 30%), and it's paid out via prize fulfillment company into a bill.com account. - Source: Reddit / 2 months ago
I'm aware of bill.com, but from what I can tell the statements/invoices have to be either emailed or mailed & scanned to appear in an inbox. I'm looking for something where I can enter the username & password of accounts so that it will automatically download statements so that I don't have to login to each website and do that. I found https://www.invoicefetcher.com, but it doesn't support many US-base vendors. - Source: Reddit / 2 months ago
Used bill.com for 3 months now - on the payout end from a vendor that I freelance blog for. Seems to be great - plus no fees on our end. - Source: Reddit / 3 months ago
Since we were in late November, I realized I needed to drop the rates negotiations because they weren’t getting me anywhere and because I was worried they might just cut off my credit cards from working (since they seemed to be moving the transition date UP from 1/1 to 12/5). I dropped the fees thing and was just trying to get details on how this change would work for us and for our customers. I asked, "Will... - Source: Reddit / 2 months ago
It looks like bill.com has an option called "Connect with Tax1099". If you've done this, they will send the 1099's for you. If not, you'll need to prepare & send the 1099's postmarked by 1/31/2023 or get setup with "Connect with Tax1099" pronto. - Source: Reddit / 3 months ago
From my understanding yes, but I'm not sure how much their transaction fees are for processing payments from your customers. Square and Stripe are somewhere under 3% per transaction. If bill.com is somewhere close to that I say go for it! - Source: Reddit / 4 months ago
The real bill.com does not use gmail. - Source: Reddit / 4 months ago
There is also a service called Melio that handles bill pays like bill.com, but is a bit more cost effective. Melio doesn't have the approval layers bill does, but for my clients that already have an approval system outside of a bill pay add-on it works well for. They will ACH deposit or cut a check to send out for bill payments. - Source: Reddit / 4 months ago
Bill.com can mail checks for you and integrate with your accounting software, but that may be overkill at your size. There are services that do this that integrate with quickbooks. - Source: Reddit / 4 months ago
They may not be opposed to moving to bill.com if they need to. - Source: Reddit / 4 months ago
In my association, we used Xero, but since it didn't have payments, we also had to use bill.com. Not ideal, and honestly, bill.com's sync with Xero leaves a lot to be desired. - Source: Reddit / 5 months ago
Bill.com is just billing software. Your clients will still be cash based even if you use bill.com. It's just like using the invoicing system in QB. even if you use it, you can still have cash based accounting. - Source: Reddit / 5 months ago
Greetings all. Can anyone recommend an all-in-one solution to do invoicing, contractor payments, and quarterly tax filing? Currently, I use the free edition of bill.com for invoicing, I write contractor payments from the company checkbook, and do quarterly taxes by hand (State income tax, State unemployment, Fed taxes). It takes me about 1hr each quarter to get all the tax paperwork complete. All... - Source: Reddit / 5 months ago
