Just happened to find a bargain (lol) and the easiest way to buy this book without redirecting via shipment routers is biblio.com. Source: 4 months ago
Biblio.com has them...might be a bit hit and miss though. Source: 9 months ago
If it’s items like this you could try selling through biblio.com - I collected this whole series through Biblio and paid decent money for some of the rarer ones. Source: about 1 year ago
From biblio.com: "Published in 1977, the first editions published by Doubleday have “First Edition” on the copyright page and R49 code printed on the bottom inside corner of page 447." FWIW, in very good to fine condition, first editions with this dust cover range in price from $750-$6000. Source: about 1 year ago
Biblio.com, ebay, and the occasional lucky used bookstore find. Mostly the first two, though you have to be extra wary you're getting what you think you're getting, ie they didn't just use a catalog picture and the actual item is a more recent/damaged edition. Source: over 1 year ago
If you can find a copy, you should definitely snap up Seeing Trees by Nancy Ross Hugo and photographer-god Robert Llewellyn. (There's a copy available on biblio.com right now.) Failing that, maybe get a copy of Trees Up Close which has much of the same material, but in a smaller format. Source: over 1 year ago
My favorite online venue is biblio.com, but they have a mix of used and rare books. Thrift Books and Better World Books list on their site, so there are lots of cheap options as well as expensive collectible books. Source: over 1 year ago
Bookfinder.com is your friend. Looks like there are also new copies to be found via biblio.com . Shhhhhh. Source: almost 2 years ago
There's plenty of websites for buying books. Amazon's the big one, obviously, but you might also check out bookshop.org, which links you to a local indie store. Barnes & Noble still had a webpage last I looked, and abebooks.com and biblio.com are good for used books. Source: about 2 years ago
I use biblio.com, which works a lot like abebooks, but without the Amazon connection. Source: about 2 years ago
Try biblio.com. It lets you search a lot of small stores and I've had lots of luck with getting OOP stuff from there. Source: about 2 years ago
Bookfinder.com to find used physical books. It aggregates results from sites like alibris.com, biblio.com, etc, and returns the price in your local currency, which includes delivery price to your country. Source: over 2 years ago
Infinite Wonderer, may I kindly suggest a book by Walter Trobisch, All a Man Can Be & What a Woman Should Know. I have yet to find a more insightful and also comprehensive description masculine experience. Knowing this may help you prepare better meeting the _masculine other_. It is out of print, but you may find it easily on biblio.com, or give me a PM. Given what you wrote above, how you wrote it I believe you... Source: over 2 years ago
I picked this up at a garage sale today and there doesn't seem to be any publishing info in the book itself. The closest I can find online is this copy on biblio.com with a similar pattern for the cover but in a different set of colors, dated 1892. But I wasn't sure if the similarities indicated a similar print date. Source: over 2 years ago
It will be expensive to return if you live in US because you will pay for shipping. I did have an experience with biblio.com and abebooks.com refunds but it was in USA. The book wasn't what as described and I just send it back but I paid for shipping. Source: almost 3 years ago
In the US I use those I mentioned, plus discoverbooks.com , Half Price Books (local store and web), another local shop who also has a biblio.com page, thriftbooks.com, and I think thats about it. Source: almost 3 years ago
If you'd rather order direct online, Biblio.com and Bookshop.org are independent book marketplaces that serve independent book shops - NOT Amazon. Source: about 3 years ago
