Just coming into the company, it does not have an IT Department or anyone with IT Skills. The infrastructure is as follows: Consumer grade Netgear router with rented cox modem. All laptops are on Windows 10 Pro with Microsoft Business Standard Licenses. All laptops have Webroot AV's and no full endpoint protection. Upload speed discrepancy - Speedtest vs. real world
I also have my own Virtual Private Server (VPS), hosted on atlantic.net. Running iperf3 to/from my VPS I see similar results to these latter ones, but also the upload tests shows a large number of retries. Here is one random example:. Source: about 1 year ago

Hands down, atlantic.net free instance and block storage for a year. Don't let the basic site and ui confuse you - I have called over six times at random hours and always get someone on the phone in under a minute and they help. I mean they really help and instantly. Source: about 2 years ago
