• Does audio interface reduce output latency ?

  If you aren't recording from microphones and such, and just need audio output, you might want to try ASIO4ALL and see whether it can 'fake' ASIO drivers for your audio chip. It works reasonably well for a lot of common chips. Not as well as good audio interface drivers, but, hey .. Its free .. Source: 5 months ago

  The instructions say no external driver is needed if you're using mac. If you're on windows, presumably that means you do need an external driver, but it doesn't say which. I would suppose that ASIO4ALL will work. So try that. https://asio4all.org/. Source: 10 months ago

  If you're trying to get audio output through a different device, you'll need to use ASIO4ALL (or other similar software) which lets you pick multiple devices and treats them as a single one, you'd install it, turn on the devices you want in ASIO4ALL's configuration, and select ASIO4ALL in FL. If you're on Windows 10 or 11 you could also use WASAPI. Both can be a little tricky to setup but there's lots of guides. Source: 12 months ago
