    I never actually "solved" this, but I switched to Caprine and I'm no longer having any problems. It actually works much better than the official app (it lets you send audio files, etc).

    I’m a JS developer, never worked with electron, but curious about it and wondering if my app idea already exists. I’m looking for something similar to All-in-one Messenger except I can pin my own custom websites as a new tab. This way I launch a single desktop app and have my frequently used web apps, like Trello, Slack, Email, etc., neatly organized.
