A Cloud Guru

I will share how I started mine. I cleared for AWS Solution Architect Associate exam. Exam is good starting point as it touches almost all areas of AWS. A course on https://acloudguru.com/ helped me. Then I did AWS Database specialty Certification. Again course on acloudguru helped me. Meanwhile my company moved workload to cloud and that gave me really good hands-on experience on cloud. This is how I changed my profile from database administrator to cloud database administrator. Apart from certifications I really feel you need to have good hands-on experience otherwise you will loose knowledge gained while studying for certifications. So if your current job doesn't involve work on cloud, next time when you search job, search for cloud networking related positions.
