However there's great music all around. You just simply have to get away from the big three record companies. They're pushing what will sell to the lowest common denominator. Bandcamp. archive.org, netlabels, hearthis.at, and mixcloud are my biggest sources. My listening list just from them is about 5 years long at the moment if I play them back to back. I also watch Wire Magazine and Resident Advisor for the latest evolutions and a glimpse of what the future will sound like.
