This is what I do. I publish weekly short stories (Cosmic Horror Yaoi bordering into Erotica) and I make $3k a month from this. I do my editing with ProWritingAid https://prowritingaid.com/ and make my own covers with Canva https://www.canva.com/ , type and format my drafts with LibreOffice https://www.libreoffice.org/ . And when I get stuck/writer's block, I paste my current story's last written paragraph into Dreamily https://dreamily.ai/#/ and it gives me a writing prompt based off of it that gets me going again. All 4 programs are free.
