I'm fairly new to all this, so excuse me if I don't use the terminology correctly. I have a question on energy consumption. I buy Ether on crypto.com and I'd like to DCA, but I'm worried about the carbon footprint of the whole thing as long as the merge hasn't happened, so I buy in larger chunks. If I buy crypto via en exchange, does that use up the same Amount of energy it would if I bought it directly?
