Are there any mobile Linux-phones viable of daily driving?

LineageOS GrapheneOS
  1. Operating system for smartphones and tablet computers, based on the Android
Lineage OS runs on a lot of phones but not Pixel. It requires that you leave the bootloader unlocked, so it doesn't have that particular bit of security. It appeals more to people who want to replace Android because they want more control over the OS as a whole. It has more customization options than Calyx and a larger community.

  2. Privacy-focused operating system for smartphones based on Android and microG
Calyx OS is the more secure option but it only works on Pixel phones. Part of the security model of Android is that the bootloader is locked and if someone unlocks it, they wipe the phone. So someone who steals your phone can't get your data. Calyx retains that security model, but Pixel is the only phone that lets users unlock and relock the bootloader, so Pixel is the only phone targeted by Calyx OS. Calyx appeals more to the security-oriented crowd. It has more fine-grained permissions for example; it's harder for an app to do something you don't want.

And there are other options such as protonaosp Https://protonaosp.org/ And divestos https://divestos.org/ if you dont have a pixel phone.

  4. GrapheneOS is an open source privacy and security focused mobile OS with Android app compatibility.
    Pricing:
    • Open Source
I would advice to buy a recent Google Pixel and install GrapheneOS. GrapheneOS systematically improves on Android privacy and security, while keeping app compatibility high. They also contributed a lot to AOSP and other important projects, so the devs really know what they are doing. I use GrapheneOS on all my devices and couldn't be happier with the OS.
