There probably will not be any bank who will give you a loan with no credit history, although I'm not sure, maybe there are some who do that. But you will most likely be able to get a credit card, some are really a scam though so read the fine print, get the lowest APR (interest rate) you can and avoid credit cards with annual fees or other hidden fees. I've found that nerdwallet.com is a good resource for finding credit cards that match your credit score and needs. And just like with the phone, if you make your credit card payments on time, you will build your credit score, and get lower interest rates in the future, if you decide to buy a car or apply for a loan, or better credit cards.
