Stamps.
The order area we had for the site had a single button for "Print label". Clicking that automatically connected to our stamps.com account to get postage and return the label. It then went thru the qz code and sent it to the printer to automatically print what stamps sent back.

When we did physical stuff, I believe we used Zebra thermal printers. There are specific rolls meant for shipping as well. Then we used https://qz.io/ for printing.
