I've used Blogger, Squarespace and Wordpress. I am currently using Wordpress and have been for the last 3 years. I recommend it for a couple of reasons. The interface on the software is not hard to learn. There are lots of tutorials on Youtube and other websites. It is very popular and many themes, plugins and integration is available. There are many options to expand a website for ecommerce, premium content, video and more. You can do free blog via wordpress.com but if you think you might shift to running a business with ecommerce or direct sales at some point you might be better off hosting with Bluehost or some other provider.
