Peter Thiel said your co-founder needs to be someone you know well. Well, I am looking for a technical coder-type of a co-founder, but given my background, I did not have the chance to be surrounded by this type of people, so how could I find a technical co-founder that I "know" well?

Any credible marketing person should be able to describe how they can build a marketing funnel with lead gen and have a pretty good knowledge of basic metrics, from DAU to CPM to RPU etc. You should be able to build the first part of the funnel - including knowing about funnel management.
