There is another thing that could attract (smarter) companies: the idea of using this to fund FOSS alternatives to products that they are too dependent on. E.g: if a good percentage of design agencies started to contribute to the development of alternatives to Figma, at some point they would have feature parity to at least negotiate a discount with the incumbents.
