I need purchasing advice for rct

GOG.com Archive.org
  1. DRM-free game store, selling both new and old titles. No clients required.
OpenRCT2 does require original RCT2 and/or RCT1 files. It's an open-source recreation of the RCT2 game engine with some bugs fixed and some features added (including some features from RCT1 that were removed in RCT2). I'd recommend getting the OpenRCT2 Launcher and using that to keep up with the Development branch, as it's still quite stable, is frequently updated, and has some really badass features. I'd recommend buying RCT1 and 2 on Good Old Games (https://gog.com) instead of Steam because GOG's games are generally without DRM, so you can share with friends and family and make backups and whatnot.

  2. Internet Archive is a non-profit digital library offering free universal access to books, movies...
Or, like, DM me and I'll send you a Dropbox link with the files. Or you can find all the original RCT1 and RCT2 disks on https://archive.org if you know how to search for them.
