Quad9 is a free, recursive, anycast DNS platform that provides end users robust security protections, high-performance, and privacy.
At the very least, I'd setup DNS-over-HTTPS/DNS-over-TLS. Something like Quad9 or AdGuard, are worth looking into. VPNs are another great option, with more security, and DNS built in. There are tons of crap providers, but the only free option worth looking into is Proton. Do note. All these services have free options. You can get better, if you open your wallet, but these are good options.
