I had no prior experience working with video/webRTC/RTMP before this and so there was a huge learning curve. I am planning on writing a larger blog post on exactly how it works, but to keep it simple right now we have a video element on the screen and we use the mediaRecorder web API and socket.io to send video frame data every second to the server which then uses FFmpeg to relay it to Youtube, Twitch, and Facebook at the same time. There are of course other ways to do it that we will be exploring in v2.
