Colonist.io

I personally quite like mindustry (which is free), a game that is a bit like factorio where you build bases with production and defense. Minecraft and Stardew Valley are also classics for a reason; minecraft might require a little bit of tinkering to install some mod like optifine or sodium if performance is an issue. Bloons TD 6 is also a nice, casual game although I personally find that it gets boring after a little while. You can also find places to play board games over the internet, like colonist.io or dominion.games.
