Subreddit Stats

We mostly used pushshift's databases and search tools like like subredditstats to gather comments, posts, or stats about the size of subreddits or samples of its discourse. We used Leximancer to analyze some topics of discourse as they changed over time, but really didn't do much topic modelling and just looked at frequently used terms minus stopwords. There isn't much 'modeling' in the book, but rather more tracking numbers like subscribers, unique commenters, and posts over time and across subreddits to provide some idea of the scope of its growth over 15 years.
