Veloren will be open, free to examine the source, free to fork, free to break in whatever way you see fit, as long as you abide by the GPL-3 license. This means that even if all of the core devs left the project, anyone could take up the helm with their own fork. That being said, we have no intentions of slowing down any time soon. If you want some proof of that, check out our blog This Week in Veloren. We've posted a weekly update every week for the last 149 weeks! To me, having content every week to show off is a great way to know that the project has a strong heartbeat.
