Http://seedinvest.com is a crowd-sourced private equity platform. I put $2k into 10 different companies several years ago through their autoinvest feature (you may be noticing a trend), and so far 2 of them have IPO'd at something like 8x the valuation I paid for. Meanwhile, at least one has been restructured like 8 times down to like 0.1% my original investment. The past is not a predictor of the future. Prepare to lose your entire investment. Yada Yada.

Masterworks

Please for the love of everything that is good and holy, do not look at http://masterworks.io, which does fractional art investing. Art investing is for people who want to load art onto a yacht and evade taxes with it while fleeing the collapse of their nation. The other thing art is useful for, is to hang on your wall and enjoy. Neither of these work with fractional ownership. I will be amazed if this 'sector' does not collapse under the sheer vacuousness of itself. Ymmv. My negation of the life work of some human building that website, should be construed neither as advice to short it, nor as a valid critique of its investment potential.

I have not looked into http://fundrise.com because I'm already invested in private real estate through groundfloor, and public real estate through my index funds.
