Some popular IDEs form GNU/Linux are VSCodium, Atom, Kate, Kwrite, Gedit, Pluma, Geany, Notepad++(it doesn't have a native port for GNU/Linux, but you can run it trough wine), Notepadqq, gvim, vim, emacs, and a few others.
