    I eventually found https://logseq.com/ which is extremely powerful, and stores files in an easy to read plain text format (that is also compatible with Emacs Org-mode). I store it all in SyncThing which adds versioning and syncs it to my phone (Orgzly is an Org-mode Android app!).
