Winaero Tweaker

Free: WinAeroTweaker, winaero.com and WindowsTweaker, windowstweaker.com are great for tweaking your settings. Maybe you'll like using group policy editor and hacking the registry since you're coming from Linux, but I prefer these 2 programs. All the settings I'd like to tweak are right there, simple and easy. Many of the same settings, but there are some differences.
