There are some interesting services that can help manage shared mailboxes out there:Emailgistics and Frontand come to mind. These are a great deal more user friendly for medical staff than a ticketing system intended for technical support or software issue tracking. Full disclosure, I know you are looking for onshore, I didn’t check if these were available in your region. But maybe looking for a similar solution will yield a local result. They like working in the shared mailbox it seems, and they aren’t replacing the EMR anytime soon, so I would look for software that improves on that experience.
