Well, A decent hotel is about 25 to 40 $ a night. We were never in our hotel except to sleep so we didn't need a fancy hotel. Our rooms were quite cheap and quite nice but not great views. Check booking.com and agoda.com The good thing is you can choose how much you want to spend. a room in thailand for 25 $ can be as nice as a 100$ room in the us. They have night markets etc we always stayed out late.
