  1. "When the price is right, you will play all night."
If you're ever looking at a game you can check https://isthereanydeal.com/ to see if a key store has the game for cheaper. Oh and only buy from key reseller's like fanatical or humble bundle because you can be assured that you're getting a legitimate copy of the game because it's the company reselling not random internet user's.

Edit: Check steamdb.info to know the past sale history of a game, so you can guesstimate when the next sale is going to be.

  3. Buy a bundle of games, you decide the price, and support charity in the process.
I Know the topic is sales, but PC also offers some very good "cheap buying opportunities" in the form of bundles, where you can buy a bunch of games for very, very cheap. Some have tiers with different pricing depending on what you get and changes regularly. A few reputable sites offering bundles are: - humblebundle.com - fanatical.com - indiegala.com.

  5. Very good and clear site for best deals.
Games go on sales once in a whille, usually the same games too. You just gotta be wary, because sometimes steam sale prices are still higher than in other official stores (in which you get a steam key anyway). I'd recommend using price comparison sites like gg.deals. There are keyshops too, but you can turn them off.
