So, one of the queries is to nextdns.io (which is obvious) and the other is to gstatic.com or another google URL. This happens even if I use a proper VPN with block all connections without VPN enabled. As such, unless you are running a Google free Android version there would 1-2 queries that go to Google which are unencrypted.
