Prospective New Board Game Designer. Where can I find artists/graphic designers for my board game?

  1. Huge collection of free icons for games and apps.
If you're still prototyping, you might be well served to find placeholder art for now. There is a lot of free clip art and icons available for board games. Try looking at freepik.com. There's also game-icons.net, which is an amazing resource for SVG and PNG icons. I'm not particularly artsy, and I was able to put together something workable using just those resources.

  3. An online game marketplace and community.
That's a budget that would usually buy 1-3 individual character drawings, but not the box cover or the board tiles or anything. It may be worth considering buying stock art from websites like drivethrurpg, itch.io, or the unity asset store, or others, rather than commissioning an artists. You may be able to license some artists existing works, but I don't know how much $300 will get you.
