    Sway is a drop-in replacement for the i3 window manager, but for Wayland instead of X11.

    Alacritty is the recommended terminal if you use Sway as a window manager. It's written in Rust. It's OpenGL-based. It borrows resources from the GPU (if you have one). It just won't work if you are using a Raspberry Pi Zero (or Zero W or Zero WH).

    But the termite developer recently rage quit because of how GNOME was planning on using the next generation of VTE. I can't blame Stinger for what he did, more so since my goal with Perfect ALARM is to eschew GNOME and KDE/Qt as much as possible even though that's still not completely possible.
