Thomas Stanley Holland was born in Kingston, London on 1 June 1996. He was born to Nicola Elizabeth and Dominic Holland, a photographer and a comedian, author respectively. He has done his graduation from the BRIT School in London. He has three brothers including twins Harry and Sam and Patrick all younger than him. He is a famous English actor living in Kingston upon Thames in London. He resides near the house of his younger brothers and parents. He was identified with dyslexia in childhood at the age of seven. He also has a blue Staffordshire Bull Terrier whose name is Tessa. The Brothers Trust, a UK Registered Charity working for charitable causes is sponsored by Holland. Holland joined a hip hop class at Nifty Feet Dance School in Wimbledon to initiate his dancing career. Choreographer Lynne Page spotted Holland's potential after she saw him dancing in the 2006 Richmond Dance Festival. He performed there with his dance school. He started acting on stage in 2008 in the West End theatre for the title role of Billy Elliot the Musical. Holland starred as Michael, Billy's best friend in his West End debut on 28 June 2008 which he got after some rounds of auditions and two years of training. He gave his first interview on a news TV channel FIVE in September 2008. That year, he was also featured in the show The Feel Good Factor on ITV1. On the occasion of the fifth anniversary of Billy Elliot the Musical on 8 March 2010, four current Billy Elliots were invited to meet the Prime Minister, Gordon Brown. Holland was also included in the Elliots list and was selected as a leader at the fifth-anniversary show on 31 March 2010. Until finishing his run-up to 29 May 2010, Holland appeared as Billy in Billy Elliot the Musical on a regular basis rotating with three other performers.
