To give an idea of my level at present, the project I have built (and will be practicing explaining HOW TO build/how it works in my small Discord study group) is essentially a 600 line piece of code offering a condensed version of what the website ask.fm does for users. It currently omits pointers and OOP, but a future project (about 4 months down the line) will be an adaptation of this ask.fm work that includes both! I should add another huge caveat; while my code is different from the instructor solution, this was an instructor-led project (from a highly recommended course on Udemy called 'Mastering Four Critical Skills Using C++').
