X-Mid 2P order problems / alternatives

Hey all, Was planning on doing the overland track from the 28th of May to the 2nd of June. For the trip, I ordered an X-Mid 2P for me and my mate to use off Amazon.com.au (drop.com is no longer handling the shipping for the tents in the latest runs). After waiting for 5 weeks, the tent still hadn't been shipped. Contacted an amazon.com.au rep and they said they had problems on their end and it would be shipped within a week. After a week I checked the order status and to my horror, it was cancelled. After getting in touch with their reps again, all I got was an apology and a $30 gift voucher. #endrant.

My take away from this is the following: For anyone wanting to purchase the X-Mid 2p from Australia, make them directly from amazon.com when they are in stock, not from amazon.com.au.
