    Anyway, the only immediately useful advice I can offer (and experienced lispers may have very good counter arguments) is to start with Visual Studio Code (vsc) as your text editor. Most importantly, it behaves like a normal text editor out-of-the-box with sensible graphical panels for browsing files and such, as opposed to the traditional console based text editors like emacs and vim which I've never been able to adequately learn despite years of trying (tho I try again annually because they are so damn powerful). Also, vsc has easy to find/install/manage extensions for many things, including adding language support for many lisps, or just generic editing like parentheses matching regardless of language.
