If I was a business owner and Django developer I would just want a Django app to play the videos, handle user details and their payments and subscriptions. I would outsource the actual payments to Stripe, as I would outsource video hosting and streaming to a service like streamable.com or sproutvideo.com . To try and build a technical solution to the later seems to to violate DRY and LEAN principles.
