[OC] Of the Top 20 Most Visited Websites in the US for Feb 2021, only 3 are Non-US (and they are all Porn Sites)

Looking at https://www.similarweb.com/, Yahoo.com gets about 3.75B total visits. Of that, mail is about 1.38B and fantasy sports is only 40M. Yahoo mail is the #2 email provider in the US. My guess is most of those people use yahoo.com as their homepage. I don't think some of the other sub homepages, like news.yahoo.com (254M), finance.yahoo.com (316M), answers.yahoo.com (65M), etc. Are included in the 3.75B number.

How useful, as a metric, is a visit? It's basically connect, do something, go away. So a visit to google.com might last 30 seconds while a visit to Pornhub reportedly lasts about 7 minutes.... Streaming from YouTube might take an hour or more. Many connections to google, facebook, etc are automatically initiated (e.g. From ads being loaded into pages). Do these count as visits? Also organizations may control domains which do not contain their name - youtube is part of google, after all. So what does it mean to *visit* youtube?

Fandom

Well, famdom.com (which owns wikia.org and wikia.com) was created by Jimmy Wales, who founded Wikipedia and based famdom on Wikipedia open source software. Amazon funded Fandom's series B for $10M so probably owns a good chunk of it. So there is a connection, just not direct.
